KiwiPrune as designed and developed as part of a business improvement idea, part of a coursework objective from our AgriBusiness Class at St Paul’s Collegiate School in Hamilton.
The purpose of the KiwiPrune is to simplify the labour intensive task of removing the plastic clips used in securing the Kiwi fruit vine as part of the growing process.
This allows growers to reuse the clips saving them money, but also increases the speed of the process leading to efficiency savings in labour costs and time.
